Photo of the Week

I was at the beach one day a couple of weeks ago, looking for people to take pictures of, when I came upon a random fashion show and snapped this shot of a model on the catwalk. 

I love the contrast between how glamorous the model is verses the natural background.  You'd never know she is on a runway, so the picture truly takes things out of context.  I also like all of the space that's in front of the model in this picture.  Since she has lots of room to walk into, the feeling of the photo isn't hurried or pressed.  Her paused pose reinforces the same calming feeling...as if she will be taking all the time she needs to get to her destination.
